Biker Chicz TV Series

THE SHOW:

Biker Chicz is a reality television series that will feature the colorful, entertaining and engaging women who are members of an all-female motorcycle club in Boston known as the “East Coast Biker Chicks” (ECBC). They currently have 136 members living in southern Maine, Rhode Island, southern New Hampshire, eastern Massachusetts, eastern Connecticut, southern Vermont and Pennsylvania; they anticipate forming another new chapter in Florida in 2010.

Set in the Boston metropolitan area, the series chronicles the daily lives and activities of a group of empowered women from all walks of life: a social worker, a scientist, a stock broker, a wife and mother, a chiropractor and many others who are in many ways average everyday typical American women. They are bound together by their independence, love of motorcycles and the open road and the camaraderie and fellowship which the ECBC provides.

We will see them at home with their families as well as at work with their colleagues, at social events, motorcycle events, charity functions and club meetings. We will also feature them on various motorcycle rides around New England and in the communities in which they live.

THE CAST (Overview):

The women of Biker Chicz are interesting “real” women who have mastered the art of riding a motorcycle and have followed their dreams and dared to live life on their own terms. A lot of the women from the ECBC boldly take on life’s challenges that many of us, men or women, might find daunting. All acknowledge that being a biker contributes to their self-esteem, focus and perseverance.

The series will feature individuals whose life stories are compelling, intriguing, fascinating and sometimes inspirational. Some of them share common traits, but most are different as night and day; all “live to ride and ride to live.” Without their motorcycles they would not be who they are; it is what defines them and what sets them apart from their non-riding sisters. A reoccurring theme in Biker Chicz is the notion that nothing clears the mind and centers you like riding a motorcycle.

While each woman featured in the show is unique and extraordinary in her own right there are, not surprisingly, certain attributes they all have in common. In addition to being avowed motorcycle riders, they are playful, freethinking, adventurous risk takers. Generous, optimistic, family and community oriented, they are also strong, creative, confident, tenacious and spiritually inclined, if not religious. And like all “sisters,” even when they fight they always come back around to appreciate, celebrate and support one another.

The women of the ECBC generally represent a typical cross-section of the American population, and could be anyone’s next door neighbor or relative. They personify the great American core values of freedom and individuality, exhibiting courage for pioneering their way of life.
